2nd half of team - on their way!

On Sunday morning, half of the mission team traveled successfully through Miami to Managua, Nicaragua on their way to Tierra Nueva.  Unfortunately the other half of the team (The Kiggins and Lowman families) found out their United Airlines flights on Sunday afternoon (routing through Houston) had been cancelled due to high winds.  This half of the mission team scrambled and drove to Cleveland later on Sunday to catch an early Monday morning flight.

One of them wrote "God's hand has been all over our day today.  One of our mission team members from the earlier group was in dire need of an antibiotic and had already left the country.  Since we were running "late" we were able to get it for her right before we dropped off the rental car at the Cleveland airport. The pharmacist was a Christian and stayed late just to help us.  The United baggage claims clerk covered the cost of our rooms Sunday evening (which was not what they typically do) and wrote us a thank you note to us for serving on this mission trip."

Here are the kids bright and early at 4:30am Monday morning - ready for the trip ahead.
The only challenge was making their connection in Houston with only 30 minutes in between flights!

And PRAISE THE LORD - all of our prayers were answered!  Their flight from Cleveland arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule, and they made it to the gate, settling comfortably on the flight to Managua.  This half of the team is scheduled to arrive at 12:00 noon today, and has an Agros guide waiting for them in order to catch up with the rest of the team.

Please continue to pray for this team over the next few days!  It's already been quite an adventure!
